Based on Vaseline, beeswax, coconut and castor oil, Lockhart's Medium is a traditional, handmade pomade with hair-care ingredients PROPERTIES. Compared to the "homebrew" pomades from Germany, the consistency of Lockhart's "medium" is less dry and waxy, but somewhat stickier. You can see the typical "threads" of a pomade with a higher Vaseline content as soon as you take it out, which is done without much effort. This property is familiar from products such as an orange Dax "Neat Waves" or a Murray's Small Batch 50-50. This stickiness can be very helpful, especially if hairs are always sticking out on the sides or back of the head.
