The handle scales are made of elegantly shimmering ebony, which is absolutely ideal for functional reasons due to its robustness, high density and resistance to ageing. This model is finished with partial gold plating and the classic Böker tree symbol, which is delicately worked into the precious wood handle. The famous knives with the world-famous tree symbol have been made by hand in the blade city of Solingen since 1869.
