The Schwarzgold razor is intended to commemorate the extraordinary racing mare Schwarzgold, who was born in Schlenderhan in 1937, and was referred to by sports enthusiasts of the time as a galloping machine, a miracle mare or überpferd. Her trainer Georg Arnull forbade the usual use of whips during training and racing. So everything Schwarzgold did, she did voluntarily. 24-carat gold-plated base is finished with a black ruthenium coating. The handle is made of ebony. The famous knives with the world-famous tree mark have been handmade in the blade city of Solingen since 1869. Since its foundation, no knife has left the manufactory without this seal of quality.
